Brand Identity, Print Design


Limbach engineers, construct and service the mechanical, plumbing, air conditioning, heating, building automation, electrical and control systems in both new and existing buildings and infrastructure. We work for building owners in the private, not-for-profit and public/government sectors.


The Limbach team created a safety initiative during the industry's nationwide annual Safety Week, called "Hearts & Minds Around Safety". The idea behind this initiative was to ensure their employees considered safety first in all workplace scenarios. We were tasked with creating the identity, decals, safety booklet, banners, and commitment cards.


Because Limbach had an existing brand system, it was important that we kept the design cohesive with their brand guidelines, though we did have a little wiggle room for creativity. Because the initiative was geared toward Safety Week, we wanted to focus our efforts on the importance of safety. We started with the mark and kept the design very simple, yet directly evocative of the messaging "Hearts & Minds Around Safety". The Limbach team loved the design, and we were given the green light to build the remaining assets from the newly built brand system.
